This project involved the ground-up construction of a new 10,000-square-foot, stand-alone swim school facility for SwimQuest in Millburn, NJ. Designed to deliver premium swimming instruction in a visually engaging and immersive environment, the facility showcases a one-of-a-kind, underwater-inspired aquatic center. At the heart of the facility is a custom-designed 2,000- square-foot saltwater pool, outfitted with specialized filtration equipment to ensure optimal water quality.
Enhancing the aquatic experience is an 18-foot by 90- foot sea life mural, two custom-built fish tanks, and a rock formation shower tunnel that creates a distinctive and imaginative atmosphere. Additional features include a rock wall with waterfall, a koi pond with viewing bridges, custom changing rooms, fully equipped bathrooms with showers, and a unique blow bar station. The main entrance area highlights high-end finishes such as a glass viewing wall into the pool area and a custom walnut “live edge” reception desk with turquoise inlay.
