The new 83,000sf Bedford Green house will offer 118 units of affordable housing for families, seniors, and individuals, combining sustainable design with community- centered living.This Transformative project includes a range of resident-focused amenities such as a workforce development office, laundry facilities, a community room, warming pantry, and an outdoor playground.
A standout feature of the development is its rooftop greenhouse – a fully operational, educational, and sustainable urban farm space designed to connect residents with nature while supplying fresh, locally grown produce. the buildings exterior will also be clad in carbon- sequestering vegetation, contributing to cleaner air and a healthier urban environment.
Bedford Green House is designed to achieve LEED gold certification, underscoring its commitment to environmental responsibility, wellness, and long-term resilience in affordable housing.
